Happy Lunar New Year to everyone! It's the year of the snake, which won't happen again until 2025. Sounds so futuristic.
There are several traditions to follow in the days leading up to the start of a new year. In addition to cleaning the house and hanging decorations throughout (among others), we also get to shop for new things to wear (to symbolize a fresh start to the new year). It also means wearing clothing with the color red, which is a good luck color. So, I'm wearing my fun new kicks. I've been eyeing these for a while but finally decided to get them for the new year. Why not right?
