I'm not commonly one to buy full-priced items often. Not because I don't want to but, like many of you I'm a gal living on a budget (and lusts after designer, and non-designer, goods). It's a self-imposed, and rather selfish, problem isn't it? Nevertheless, if I can wait the time out (and feel like items won't sell out first) then I love to snag the deals.
These camo pants have been seen so much (and maybe even too much) but, I still really adore them. So for a discounted price, I got them. The colors of the camo print are not overwhelming compared to others so I don't feel like I'm wearing a costume. And while the Neiman Marcus designer collaboration with Target seemed a bit hit/miss with me (e.g. the Altuzarra shaker and Altuzarra glasses were not made particularly well but the Altuzarra tray is amazing!), I liked this Proenza Schouler sweatshirt for its quirky design and high/low hem. Plus, with all the collaboration pieces now on sale, the price is right.

I also normally wait for things to go on sale - but I did buy those camo pants full price, which I actually don't regret because I wore them a lot up to now and really love them! haha Love this look! :)

I can never pull off camo like you do. I guess the pattern overwhelms my petite frame :(
I always wait for a sale. Everything, I mean everything, always goes on sale. And for luxury designer goods, I always choose consignment stores as I can get a perfect designer item for 1/2 the cost.

I love this whole look! I felt the same as you. I totally thought the NM/Target collab was a hit or miss. I bought the proenza sweatshirt too which I liked. But as for the other stuff like the marc jacobs pouch.. I felt it was poorly made for the price even on sale! :(

I think with some items it depends. If I think the item is going to sell out quickly, then I'll snatch it up full price. But...I also don't take tags off anything until I wear it, so if I notice that a few weeks later, that item has gone on sale, then I'll buy the sale one and return the full price one. That's how I got all of my Jason Wu for Target and Target/Neiman Marcus items on sale. I just waited. :)

hey nancy! GREAT pants doll. they have not seen the end yet girl. they still look great. i wait for sales 90% of the time. i really try and hold out. if an item is limited, then i'll buy it right away (but that's usually when something is in a smaller/boutique shop and they don't carry many sizes). larger stores....mass quantities...wait for a sale or even clearance! hahaha
